Gator Cases and Frameworks, both subsidiaries of Gator Co., are pleased to announce new band and orchestra accessories tailored for brass, string, and woodwind players. These offerings include bags for various-sized instrument mutes, along with new stands and a wall-mounted instrument hanger.
Gator Cases’ new Mute Bags, made from weather-resistant fabric, come in four different sizes with modular interiors for customizing storage configurations. For high brass players, the smallest bag holds up to three trumpet or French horn mutes, while the medium size will accommodate up to four. Both the small and medium-sized bags include an elastic band on the lid for attaching to a music stand. For low brass musicians, the large bag fits up to four trombone or euphonium mutes, and the extra-large version fits up to six. All bags in the series feature exterior pockets for storing additional accessories.
Gator Frameworks has expanded its Recital Series instrument stands with new sizes, allowing players to rest their instruments safely between sessions. The tripod-based version is designed for either a soprano saxophone or flugelhorn and includes a velvet bell rest for gentle contact with the instrument. For string players, there are two stands with A-frame bases: a version for a violin or viola, and another for a cello or double bass. Both stands include a convenient bow hanger.
Frameworks has also added a saxophone version to its series of wall-mounted instrument hangers. This hanger accommodates either an alto or tenor saxophone and provides an ideal solution for displaying instruments while ensuring their safety.
