Gator has released new ONYX Series flight cases, expanding the existing range with additional models that incorporate integrated Upper Deck sliding laptop platforms, alongside a new live-in case for the AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X media player. The new additions maintain the ONYX Series’ established construction and sleek blackout aesthetic.
The new ONYX Series additions include ATA-style cases designed for a variety of DJ controllers and standalone digital DJ systems. Models are available for the AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X media player, DDJ-FLX4 and DDJ-FLX10 controllers, DDJ-GRV6, XDJ-RX3, and REV1 and REV7 controllers, as well as the Denon DJ Prime 4 and Rane Four Performance controllers.
Construction details vary slightly across the new ONYX Series additions based on the equipment they are designed to house. All models feature precision-engineered EVA foam interiors, with the CDJ-3000X case further incorporating removable access panels that allow continued use of the player’s NFC reader while housed in the case. Plywood construction, aluminum valance that helps align the lid to the base, steel ball corners for added impact protection, and heavy-duty hardware are consistent across the collection.
The ONYX Series continues to grow with controller-specific designs for Denon, AlphaTheta and Rane products, along with vinyl storage solutions. The expanded offering reflects Gator’s ongoing focus on providing practical transport solutions for working DJs.
