Gator has expanded its Grooves Series with the release of two new hard-shell cymbal cases. Available in 22-inch and 24-inch sizes, the wheeled models provide transport protection for common cymbal setups as well as larger ride and crash configurations.
Both Gator Grooves cymbal cases use a rugged black roto-molded polyethylene shell for impact resistance during transport. The 22″ model fits cymbals up to 22″ (55.9 cm), while the 24″ version accommodates cymbals up to 24″ (61.0 cm).
Each case features a stackable interior that holds up to eight traditional-style cymbals, with capacity varying when storing China cymbals, flat rides or models with oversized bells. Four padded dividers help prevent metal-to-metal contact and keep cymbals separated and organized in transit, while a heavy-duty 2″ (5.1 cm) strap with a locking high-tension buckle secures the contents during movement.
Each case incorporates smooth-rolling rubber inline wheels and a retractable telescoping handle, making it easier to move a full cymbal setup through venues, rehearsal spaces and studios. The rubber inline wheels are intended to roll smoothly across delicate floor surfaces, helping reduce scuffing while moving heavy cymbal loads.
