Available in black color, the G-ICONLP features a custom interior designed with a finely tuned, form-fitting protection system specific to Les Paul-style bodies, including both single and double-cutaway versions.
A pair of fixed, contoured foam block wedges hug the middle bout of the guitar to prevent any unwanted movement inside the case. A slanted foam wedge placed beneath the body angles the instrument slightly upward, keeping the headstock from contacting the bottom surface of the bag.
Designed for the working guitarist, the ICON Series encapsulates superiority in a single gig bag. Each model comes equipped with an extremely durable, semi-rigid construction, offering protection comparable to that of a hard case but with the ergonomic advantages of a gig bag.
Integrated, padded backpack straps are easily tucked into a rear pocket when not in use, preventing them from hanging out and ending up caught on objects when navigating narrow passes. To ensure a clean look, the unoccupied D-rings responsible for connecting the backpack straps to the bag tuck back up into pockets at both bottom corners. Reinforced carry handles located in three different locations on the bag’s exterior (front, back, and top) make for easy retrieval regardless of its resting position.
Underneath the surface, the bags are fitted with multiple layers of padding, including adjustable neck and body blocks to provide further defense against the typical drops and bumps when traveling to and from shows. An ICON-branded weather cover can be retrieved from its dedicated pocket at the top and fitted over the bag, ensuring dry storage of the instrument and its accessories on a rainy day.
Multiple pockets line the outside of the bag at various locations, including a hidden compartment on the back providing quick access to a passport, wallet, smartphone, and other personal items.
